BABYSITTER'S TRAINING
This instructor lead 5 hour class is supplemented by a video presentation, lecture and group activities. Participants will learn the roles and responsibilities of a babysitter including skills in: the business of babysitting, accident prevention, first aid, care of choking victims and the ages and stages of children. Certification card issued upon completion.


EPIC Training for Kids: Home Alone
This instructor led 2-hour class is for boys and girls ages 7-13yrs. Supplemented by a video presentation and group activities; participants will learn the importance of behaving responsibly when home alone. Topics include, but are not limited to: basic first aid, what to do when a stranger comes to the door, answering the phone, Internet safety and how to react during a various home emergency such as a power outage or fire. Knowing when your child is ready to stay home alone is a difficult decision and preparation can make the transition much easier for you & your child the roles and responsibilities.
