Beginner Gymnastics – Step 1

  • This class is ideal for 5 year old in Kindergarten and 6+ year olds with less than 6 consecutive sessions (1 year) of prior experience.
  • The goal of this class is to develop fundamental gross motor and gymnastics skills including: rolls, cartwheels, various hangs on the bars, jumping & rebounding, and basic body positions that are essential to the sport of gymnastics
  • Prerequisite: 5 year olds are in Kindergarten.

Gymnastics Step 1 Late Fall
Beginner Gymnastics – Step 1 This class is ideal for 5 year olds who are currently in Kindergarten and 6-7 year olds with less than 6 consecutive sessions (1 year) of prior experience in Step 1. The goal of this class is to develop fundamental gross motor and gymnastics skills including: rolls, cartwheels, various hangs on the bars, jumping & rebounding, and basic body positions that are essential to the sport of gymnastics. Prerequisite: 5 year olds must be in Kindergarten. Classes run from November 3 -December 21 *No program 11/11, 11/26-11/30
