Permit must be presented at time of bathroom key pickup. A cleaning
deposit of $100.00 applies to cabin and Tyler Pavilion rentals and is due
at time of key pickup.
Weekend and holiday rentals must pick up key on the last business day prior to event.
General:
Permit is valid only on date and time indicated. Permit is nontransferable and permit holder (applicant, renter) must be present at all times during use. Applicant must present this permit to the dispatcher at the Highway garage or keys will not be issued. The Town Code of the Town of Henrietta shall remain in force at all times. The person whose signature appears on this permit must be at least 21 years of age and be physically present during the reservation time of this permit. Bathroom keys will only be issued to the person whose name appears on the permit. Such person shall be required to sign for the key. The key shall be returned to the highway dispatcher immediately after your reservation. Any employee designated by the Town of Henrietta may spot check the activities being conducted within the Park to ensure adherence to park ordinances and Town Board regulations. Permit holders must present this permit (original copy only) to any law enforcement officer or employee of the Town of Henrietta, upon request.
Time:
Rental includes full-day use of Tyler Pavilion (10:30AM – sunset). Tinker Park closes at sunset.
Fee:
A fee, as prescribed by the Town Board, will be charged to any group or organization for full use of Tyler Pavilion. Per Resolution #8-125/2015, the resident fee is $25 and the non-resident fee is $50.
Key Pickup:
Pavilion key is to be picked up on the day of your reservation at the Recreation Center, 605 Calkins Road. Applicant must present this permit and the cleaning deposit at the time of key pick up. Recreation Center hours are Monday thru Friday 6am – 9pm, Saturday 7am-6pm and Sunday 8am-5pm. The key shall be returned to the Recreation Center Drop Box immediately after your reservation. The Drop Box is mounted on the Recreation Center exterior wall just outside of the main entrance doors. Holiday rentals must pick up key on the last business day prior to event.
Key Deposit:
A $100 key deposit in the form of a check is due upon key pick-up. If the key is returned promptly, your check will be returned to you. Failure to return the key upon completion of your rental may also result in forfeiture of your key deposit.
Garbage Removal:
Tinker Park is a carry-in/carry-out park. All garbage must be removed from the park at the end of your event.
Capacity:
Tyler Pavilion has seating for 50 people, but can accommodate up to 75. Tables may be moved, but PLEASE DO NOT SLIDE TABLES ACROSS GROUND.
Admission Fees and Fundraising:
No admission fee may be charged for use or admittance to the facility except that which will be solicited for the express purpose of charitable causes. Furthermore, any money gathered shall be deemed donations and shall be disclosed fully to the Town Board after collection as proof of distribution to charity. A special permit from the Town Board will be required for charitable fundraising and must be requested at least 3 weeks prior to the reservation date. In all other instances, facilities may not be used for sales or other profit making ventures unless first approved by the Town.
Alcoholic Beverages:
No alcoholic beverages are permitted. Tinker Park is a dry park.
Smoking:
Smoking is prohibited in Tinker Park.
Grills:
Grills are allowed, but not provided.
Tents:
No tents will be allowed in the Henrietta Town Parks, with the exception of a pop up tent no larger than 144 sq. ft. or 12'x12' that may be set up next to Tyler Pavilion for the hours indicated on the rental agreement.
Pets:
Pets are not allowed at Tyler Pavilion or Tinker Park.
Amusement or Entertainment:
Amplified live music and unusually loud recorded music are prohibited. Inflatable recreation gyms (e.g., bounce houses) are prohibited.
Refunds:
Refunds must be requested at least two weeks prior to the date reserved, otherwise no refund will be given. Refunds will be given as account credit, to be used towards upcoming programming or rentals with the Parks and Recreation Department, or by check. There is a $10 processing fee for check refunds. Credit Card transactions cannot be reimbursed back to cardholder.
Liability:
The Town reserves the right to require organizations to present proof of insurance prior to use. The Town of Henrietta is not responsible or liable for any injuries that occur during the rental or as a result of facility use. The renter is liable for any damage to the facility or grounds. Renter is also liable for any items removed from the bathrooms.
Town Code Compliance:
